Scan & Split helps you scan receipts and split costs with others. This page summarizes what data we collect, how we use it, and the basic terms for using the app.

What We Collect

We only store the following information:

• Your phone number
• Your receipts (images or extracted data)
• Your splits (who owes what and related amounts)

How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account and sign-in
• To process receipts and calculate/track cost splits
• To keep a history of your receipts and splits for your reference

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely in cloud services with access controls. We do not sell your data. Limited service providers may process data solely to operate the app.

Sharing & Retention

• We do not sell user data.
• We share data only when needed to provide the service (e.g., storage/processing).
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data.

Terms of Use

• Use the app lawfully and do not upload illegal content.
• You are responsible for accuracy of receipt data and splits.
• No warranties; the app is provided “as is” without liability for loss or damages.
• We may update features and these terms; material changes will be reflected here.
